Organisational Structure
The Director of the Agricultural Research Department is responsible for policy and operational direction and coordination of agricultural research.

Research Programs
Agricultural research includes livestock and crops. Horticultural research is mainly focussed on those vegetable and fruit crops that are consumed in the country. Specific areas include identification of suitable cultivars, identification of pest and pest strategies, agronomic studies, storage and other production cultural practices.
