Organisational Structure
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food contributes to agriculture and biofood research and development efforts by making its R&D resources available to the sector and through its R&D assistance programs. While the Quebec biofood industry has increased its involvement in agriculture and biofood R&D in recent years, public (federal and provincial) and parapublic (universities) institutions are the main bodies engaged in this activity.
