Research Centre Nyíregyháza performs its activities for the benefit of the region's agriculture and research development. Its research-aim is to improve and work out the growing technology of those plants that can be produced under the unfavourable ecological conditions of the region and also carry out research into the complex utilization of sandy soil.
Research Centre Nyíregyháza has 3 research departments: Department for Field Crops, Department for Horticultural Crops - Plant Biotechnological Laboratory, and Department for soil use.
