Organisational Structure
The University has four faculties: 1. Faculty of Food Industry, Budapest, 2. Faculty of Horticulture, Budapest, 3. Faculty of Landscape Architecture, Protection and Development, Budapest, and 4. College of Horticulture, Kecskemét.
All departments of the University are engaged in basic and/or applied research and development work. The University has model farms and experimental farms in different settlements near Budapest.
The Central Library of the University (founded 1860) is a special scientific public library having nation wide function. Its main task is collecting literature on all branches of horticulture.
