Organisational Structure
The human resource structure IBET is segmented in two distinct groups. On the one hand, the internal structure, responsible for management, pilot plant, chemical/microbiological qualified services and administrative staff, which is intended to be kept as light as possible, but is already underdimensioned. On the other hand, the external structure, consisting of people specially contracted for research or training projects, usually through scholarship contracts, during the period of the projects. IBET has different research projects, funded by PIDDAC (Program for the Implementation of Governmental Services), the PAMAF-IED (R&D-Agriculture and Forestry Modernisation Support Program), EUREKA, UE, PEDIP, PRAXIS and other funding resources like those supported by contractors or research consultants.
