Organisational Structure
South-Urals Research Institute of Horticultural Crops and Potato under RAAS, Horticultural Department.
The institute improves breeding methods and creates high productive cultivars of fruit, berry crops, and potato; amends cultural techniques and multiplication. Six laboratories are involved in breeding and multiplication. The experimental productive farm 'Sadovoye' does the cultural production, multiplication and introduction of the new products.
The institute consists of the following laboratories: 1. Laboratory of breeding and cultivation technology of apple, 2. Laboratory of breeding and cultivation technology of fruit, 3. Laboratory of breeding and cultivation technology of berry crops, 4. Laboratory of breeding and cultivation technology of potato, 5. Laboratory of micro-clonal multiplication, 6. Laboratory of economy supplements.
