Organisational Structure
Instituto Canario de Investigaciones Agrarias (ICIA) is a government research agency. The main experimental centre and facilities of ICIA are located in Valle Guerra (La Laguna) on the northern coast of Tenerife (lattitude 28:30' longitude 16:22'), with sub-stations in Glimar (southeast) and Guia de Isora (southwest); in the south of the island of Grand Canary, a further station will soon be completed. The Jardin de Aclimatacion de La Orotava, a public botanical garden in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife) also belongs to the Institute.
