Organisational Structure
The research of IACR is principally of relevance to arable crops but some work is horticultural. IACR has a Director and seven research Departments concerned with entomology, biological control, disease and virus control, biochemistry, soils, statistics, and expert systems. Research on the genetics of growth and development of plants and on environmental issues is undertaken at IACR-Long Ashton Research Station, Bristol, BS41 9AF, while work on field crops is undertaken at IACR-Brooms Barn, Higham, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 6NP.
