The important horticultural areas of Vermont are located in the Champlain Valley, the Connecticut River Valley and in Grand Isle County. The principal horticultural crops grown in the state are apples, strawberries, blueberries and truck crops for roadside stands and for market gardens, also woody ornamental and annual bedding plants.
